Welcome to Our Revitalised Rocket Program! We are charging full speed ahead in 2024. Our primary goal is to compete in the Australian Universities Rocket Competition (AURC), where we are undertaking the challenge of designing, building, and launching a high-powered rocket to an altitude of 10,000 ft as accurately as possible.
Cancelled since 2020, AURC promises to be a technically demanding engineering challenge. We’re gearing-up to face tough competition and are inviting those who are passionate about rocketry to join The QUT Aerospace Society in this rewarding and exhilarating endeavor .
For members who are new to rocketry or simply interested in hobby model rocketry, we have experienced members who are happy to assist you with your aspirations and provide insight into the bureaucratic licensing process.
